/llms.txt still shows Shopify's text

Shopify serves /llms.txt from the theme template templates/llms.txt.liquid. On the app's llms.txt page, let the app update it automatically, or copy the template and add it yourself (Online Store → Themes → ⋯ → Edit code → Templates → Add a new template → llms.txt). A new theme needs the template again; the app puts it back by itself when it may edit theme files.

IndexNow says the key file isn't reachable

The app adds a URL redirect from /<key>.txt to its app proxy. Check that it's still under Online Store → Navigation → URL redirects, and that the app proxy under Settings → Apps and sales channels → AI Visibility is on. The app re-creates a missing redirect on its next check.

My changes don't show up in ChatGPT

IndexNow gets changes to Bing within minutes; Bing and the assistants built on it decide when to crawl and show them, which usually takes a few days. Verify your store in Bing Webmaster Tools (paste the code under Settings) to see how Bing sees it.

The AI answers page shows "not mentioned"

Assistants recommend stores they find on the web and trust. Fill the gaps on the overview page, add FAQ answers and business details to llms.txt, and get listed on the sites the answers cite. Results vary from run to run: watch the trend over weeks.

The traffic page can't read Shopify's analytics

Reports need the "reports" permission; reinstalling or accepting the updated permissions fixes it.
